Hi! I'm Jeanet Fazou
Born and raised in beautiful Crete, of Greek and Dutch descent. I have an International Business & Event Planning degree which I pursued in the Netherlands, where I have been living since 2014.
My background in marketing, branding, and event planning for luxury companies such as Bvlgari and Gisou is where my passion for event planning & management blossomed.
Although I loved working for corporations, it felt like something was missing. That's when the idea of combining the 2 things I love sparked: my home; Crete, and event planning. A beautiful romance of how Fazou Weddings & Events came to be.

What makes me different? Being Greek and Dutch has given me expertise in both western and Mediterranean cultures, languages, and people. I find ways to incorporate organizational tactics with social norms and standards to make your dream event happen, without the hassle that could come with the ‘Greek way of doing things’.

Combining my extensive knowledge of the area, its treasures, and connections with local suppliers with my passion for planning, creativity, and attention to detail is the key to planning the perfect wedding in Crete.
